2008 edition of the Daily Times, the Wicomico Composite Squadron's cadet program was featured in the "DelmarvaNow" Column.
The Daily Times and its affiliated weekly newspapers serve the five counties of the Eastern Shore. The counties are Wicomico,
Somerset, Worcester, Accomack and Northampton
Of particular note in the
article was a description of the cadets' success in competing in the Nation-wide Rocketry finals for the second consecutive
year. Again, the Wicomico Composite Squadron cadets were the only CAP squadron represented among the 100 qualifying
finalists.
