Activity: 27 July 2008 Color Guard at Community Concert

During the concluding 2008 season performance of the Salisbury Community Band, the Wicomico Composite Squadron's cadets presented the colors during the singing of the National Anthem. Participating were Cadets Kevin Gravenor, Zachary Jones, Ryan Murray and Jacob Terlizzi. Senior Member David Argentieri assisted.

The Salisbury Community Band, dating from around 1937, presents "music to members of the community in a manner which mirrors traditions of the past ...." The band, composed of adults and students from area schools, performs five concerts each summer in the historic and restored bandstand in the Salisbury Park. During inclement weather, the concerts are held in nearby sheltered venues. The faithful audience is drawn from cities, towns and counties from throughout the DelMarVa Peninsula.
