Cadet 2nd Lt Jacob Terlizzi was both promoted to his current rank and installed as the Wicomico Composite Squadron (Civil Air Patrol) Commander.  C/2nd Lt Terlizzi, a Junior at Stephen Decatur High School, has received numerous awards during his time as a member of the local Civil Air Patrol squadron including earning the coveted CAP Rocketry Badge as a team member during last year’s National American Rocketry Challenge.

 

In addition to having varied assignments in the Wicomico Squadron, C/2nd Lt Terlizzi is a member of the Stephen Decatur High School Naval Jr ROTC.  He has won the American Legion three position rifle state championship, shot in the 2006 Junior Olympics and is returning to complete this summer.

 

Also promoted were C/1st Lt Zachary Mitchell, a student at Wor-Wic Community College, and C/2nd Lt Brandon Wojcik, who attends Delmar High School.  The Cadet of the Quarter was awarded to Airman Cody Meadows for his outstanding contributions to the squadron and excellent military bearing.
